5th class Climate Change Project
Here is an example of online projects created by 5th class using Book Creator or PowerPoint. Ms. Chawke taught the children how to use Book Creator over Zoom and Seesaw during lockdown, specified what needed to be included in the project and directed children to relevant websites. Children then came up with their own very unique and creative projects. Many thanks to their parents who assisted them in setting up Book Creator accounts and who forwarded PowerPoints. A big well done to the 5th class who participated in this project and learned new and useful skills over lockdown. Pause the video to read more about climate change and enjoy a Greta Thunberg video selected by one of our 5th class children at the end.

They paraded around the running track while singing Lá Fhéile Phádraig and waving flags. The boys and girls also enjoyed dancing to the Hokey Pokey as Gaeilge.
