Children in Fifth Class used paper to create patterns to continue on their Op Art projects.

Children in Fifth Class carried out an experiment to design and make a paper rocket. Children completed an activity sheet demonstrating the equipment required, the method, the results and conclusions of the experiment.

Rugby Training
Matt Brown from Munster Rugby is providing three rugby sessions to Fifth and Sixth Classes. Last Wednesday was the first day of it. The boys and girls in both classes really enjoyed the sessions.
Jumping for joy
Children in Fifth Class practised their jumping skills using a variety of activities. Children worked in groups at different stations for the lesson. Children enjoyed the activities.
Lego: Building a Rocket
Children in Fifth Class used Lego to design and build a rocket. Inspiration was gained from the experiment carried out where they designed, made and launched a rocket using paper.
