Children in Fifth Class participated in a workshop of Izak 9 cubes to celebrate Maths Week.
Children in Fifth Class finished Space Week with some art around the theme of ‘Space’. They painted and coloured a scene of the solar system. The boys and girls really enjoyed their work on Space Week.
Children in Fifth class participated in a code along using the programme Scratch. The theme of ‘Space’ was the focus of the session.
The children in 6th class were learning about the primary colours, and how they cannot be made by mixing colours together. They then carried out an experiment to investigate what colours they could make by mixing these primary colours – secondary and tertiary colours.
Children in Fifth Class learned about Outer Space this week. We look at star constellations. Children created their own constellations and gave them names.
Children then used tooth picks and gummy bears to create star constellations in 3D form.
Children in fourth class used the Lego We Do set of Transport to build their devices.
Children in Fifth Class learned about buildings in geography. In groups, children designed buildings and made their buildings using Lego.
Children in Fifth Class explored tangrams in Maths class and created animals using the tangram shapes.
Children in Fifth Class worked together to make a safety jacket for an egg.
