This is a great way for your child to get to know their tables or to revise them. Write the tables on sticks. Take it in turns to pick out a stick and try to correctly answer the table. If you are correct, keep the stick. If not, you place it back in box. If you receive a stick with ‘Kaboom’ on it put all the sticks you have collected back in the box and begin again!
Children of all ages can benefit immensely from play. So step back, allow your child to play. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the skills children will continue to use in life.
