Mary Immaculate College lecturer Maeve Liston continued to set STEM challenges throughout the Easter break. These are a compilation of all her challenges to date (including the ones already posted here on the website).
This is a lovely activity that suits all ages. Firstly, children can make the box with materials and resources from their home (be creative). Then colour and paint the box. As a family, come up with your different plans you would like to do together after the virus! Something to look forward to once we resume normality.
Coding Ireland will be setting weekly challenges on their website. Each week they will publish new coding challenges (a beginners challenge and an advanced challenge). Students can submit their work and they will award a prize to the best entry! This week’s prize is a Microbit circuit board computer. You can access: www.codingireland.ie/WeeklyChallenges
