We designed and constructed amazing light up circuit cards. We created a basic circuit using LED’s, coin battery and conductive copper tape. The class really enjoyed mixing art and technology!

Working With Clay
Children in Senior Infants and First Class worked with clay today. Children made lots of different things with their clay. The boys and girls really enjoyed working with clay.
At the Restaurant
At the Restaurant was November’s theme for Aistear in Junior Infants. The children had lots of fun taking orders over the phone and in the restaurant. The Very Hungry Caterpillar was a frequent customer in the restaurant. They created menus and built a restaurant using blocks. Food and items for the restaurant were made using play dough.
Planting Cress Seeds
3rd class are doing a science experiment to discover what seeds need to grow best. We are using cress seeds to investigate this.
We also planted daffodils and crocuses outside on 18th November 2020.
4th Class Science Week 2020
We did lots of activities in 4th Class for Science Week.

Working with Tablets
Senior infants and First class having fun on the tablets today. We played literacy and numeracy games in groups.
Winter Hats
The boys and girls of Ms. O Connor’s social group were busy threading ‘Winter Hats’ as part of their fabric and fibre art.
SFI Discover Science and Maths Award 2019/2020
Well done to all the boys and girls and their teachers who worked very hard last year to ensure our school received the ‘Badge of Excellence for STEM Awareness in the SFI Discover Science and Maths Awards’. We received our award yesterday. This Friday, three classes will have an opportunity to view the first interactive digital SFI Discover Science and Maths Awards Ceremony.
