Children in Fifth Class carried out an experiment to design and make a paper rocket. Children completed an activity sheet demonstrating the equipment required, the method, the results and conclusions of the experiment.
Children in Fifth Class used Lego to design and build a rocket. Inspiration was gained from the experiment carried out where they designed, made and launched a rocket using paper.
Children in Fifth Class worked together in groups to design and make rockets. Groups launched the rockets afterwards and we measured the distance of their landing. Children enjoyed this experiment and completed an experiment sheet based on it.
This month, children in Fifth Class are learning about a number of famous people who have overcome disability to succeed. Children were given the task to research other famous people who have overcame disability and succeeded. And this week, all of the children researched Michael J. Fox and completed a ‘Research Map’ which will help them to write a report on Michael J. Fox. Children worked together to complete this activity.
