After School Chess

Preparation for Intel’s Mini Scientist County Finals
This week, the team that will represent our school at the County Finals of Intel’s Mini Scientist Competition began their preparations to develop their idea further to present on the day. They completed a survey in all of the classrooms finding out how much physical activity each child does on a daily basis. Well done James, Luke, Cillian and Jaime.

A big happy birthday to Sadhbh Holmes who attended After Schools Athletics Training. Although it was her birthday, she wanted to come to the training. Well done Sadhbh and have a great celebration!
Team Hope Shoebox Appeal
Well done to Murroe N.S. who collected 74 boxes to be sent to the children in Africa and Eastern Europe. The children who receive the shoeboxes are affected by poverty in different ways. It is great to see big numbers of shoeboxes being filled by the boys and girls. It makes a big difference in the lives of the children who receive them on Christmas morning!
