Lego Power Hour
Children in fourth class participated in a ‘Lego Power Hour’. Children worked together to build and construct items of their choice. The boys and girls were encouraged to use their imagination and creativity in their designs and constructions.

Members of the Murroe Camogie Club and the Murroe GAA Club visited our school today to speak to the boys and girls about getting involved in the local teams in Murroe. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop many lifelong skills in a fun and engaging way. It is a fantastic opportunity for the boys and girls.

The Dragons Come To Visit
As part of the Junior Entrepreneur Programme, three local entrepreneurs visited our fifth class students to listen to the children’s pitch for the card game they are planning to develop and produce. The entrepreneurs were Breda White, P.J. Holmes and Denis O Malley.
The children rose to the occasion and presented their pitch very well. The Dragons were very impressed with the children’s card game idea and the work completed by them to date.
Well done to the boys and girls for all their hard work. We would like to thank the Dragons for their time today. It was a valuable learning experience for the boys and girls in fifth class.
