









Well done to the boys in Second and Third Class who travelled to Dublin recently to compete in a rugby tournament.
Congratulations to all the children in 6th class who took part in the chess tournament. All involved enjoyed the tournament, and learned a lot about playing chess, and the rule and etiquette involved in the game. Congratulations to Katie Clohessy, who was the overall winner of the tournament. Well done to Joseph O’Brien who was the runner up. George Crowe and Millee Martin were winners of the most improved player category, and Leah Harte won the most improved new player category. Well done to all involved.
Well done to Paraíc who was part of the U.L. Bohemian’s rugby team who won a trophy in Dublin last weekend. What a fantastic achievement!
Children in Fifth Class worked together to explore and discuss our new Maths equipment ‘cuisenaire rods’.
Last week, classes played a soccer tournament which the boys and girls enjoyed. Well done to all who participated in the games and tournaments.
