Engineer’s Week
Children in fourth, fifth and sixth class participated in the Zoom session organised by STEPS with Microsoft Dream Space and the Garage. Children learned about engineering and developed skill through different activities. The activities were very enjoyable and fun. Children made dogs using paper and then designed and make a dog kennel for them.
STEM: IZAK 9 Cubes
Children in Fifth Class are working with Izak 9 cubes during Maths. Children work together in groups to solve different task, Children are really enjoying working with the Izak 9 cubes.
Walk-In GreenHouse
Sixth class planted peas, radishes and salad leaves today in school. They also constructed a walk-in green house in the courtyard, putting their STEM skills into action.
Self-Portraits with their Interests
Fifth Class drew self-portraits with a focus on their interests.
Ireland Reads Initiative
Well done to the boys and girls in each class who celebrated ‘Ireland Reads Initiative’ today by reading for at least ten minutes.
