4th Class European Sports Day Activities
4th Class completed lots of activities both indoor and outdoors for European School Sports Day. We played elbow tag, took penalties, played colour cones, did some yoga, did a HIIT workout with Joe Wicks and played rounders. We had a great day!

SFI Discover Science and Maths Award For 2019/2020
Congratulations to all of our school community (students, teachers and parents) who were awarded the ‘Badge of Excellence’ in the area of STEM. We were one of thirty schools who participated in this pilot programme last year. Our school has provided evidence of children’s engagement with STEM in the following areas:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Maths
- STEM Showcase
In the feedback received, the purchase of the STEM equipment by our parents was commended and we at Scoil Mhuire wish to thank you again sincerely. We look forward to participating in this award again in the coming years and we hope that you will be enthusiastic as ever and continue to support our students, teachers and school in their work.

Virtual Sports Day!
Next Thursday, the 18th June is our Virtual Sports Day. Children will be asked to choose five activities from a list of nine activities. If you have a photo or video of your activities, you can post them to your teacher.
