This week in Senior Infants we have been exploring Bridges and how they work. Today we watched the Engineers Ireland STEPS Engineers Week show “Build a Bridge and Get Over It”. The children then designed and made their own bridges.

Today Senior Infants learned the Irish dance ‘Shoe the Donkey’. We had a Céilí Mór in our school yard using our new speaker.
Run Around Ireland Challenge
The children in Senior Infants are having fun running around Ireland and exploring the famous landmarks of Ireland. Yesterday we ran to Carauntoohil Mountain in Co. Kerry. Today we ran to the Blarney Stone in Co. Cork. Tomorrow we will run to Hook Head Lighthouse.
