Stranded on a deserted island, the children in 6th class have to complete a number of survival tasks. Task 1: build a hut, with a fully functional door. The hut has to be strong enough to survive a tropical storm ( 6 second blast of a hairdryer, without moving or toppling over). Task 1 was successfully completed by all.

Junior Infants have been working hard at combining. They used lots of concrete materials and wrote sums on their whiteboards. They used the iPads and played maths games which included lots of combining activities.

Senior Infants and 1st Class are learning about healthy food and activities this week in school. We created a healthy lunchbox. We are really enjoying learning about the importance of healthy eating and staying active.
